Tolkien-inspired MOBA Guardians of Middle-Earth will release in the UK digitally on the PSN on December 4 and physically for the PS3 on December 7. In the US, both versions will be available on December 4.
No release date for the Xbox 360 version has been announced other than a vague “autumn”, but the game will apparently cost 1200 Microsoft Points.
The retail copies of the game will come with a prize doubled compared to that of the downloadable version. this is due to the fact that the retail copies will feature pre-paid discounted access to future DLC, PSN vouchers and a season pass for the game.
Though the DLC on offer hasn’t been fully detailed yet, it’ll apparently consist of game maps, a bonus gameplay mode and additional characters, some of which are slated to be based on characters from the upcoming Hobbit movie.
