The Infamy of King Washington is the first piece of story driven DLC for Assassin’s Creed III. As said before, the non-canonic campaign will gravitate around the lust for power of George Washington, wanting to bring a new order to the nation but losing the way in the process.
“It’s 1783 and the American Revolution is over, our hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, awakens from an unsettling dream to find that despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. Blinded by a thirst for unlimited power, Ratonhnhaké:ton must dethrone the tyrant and return freedom to the land”.
Other two episodes will be released in the upcoming months, following Connor as he tries to restore the order he and the other patriots conquered during the revolution.
The Infamy will be available on Xbox 360 and PC on February 19 and on PS3 on February 20. The three upcoming episodes are available through the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass, which is available for purchase for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or £23.99/$29.99 on the PlayStation Network and Windows PC. The first episode can also be purchased as a single DLC pack for 800 Microsoft points or £9.99/$9.99.
